2006 Seat Leon FR Replica – Reference Sport TDI

Overview

MOT until October 2015.


Mileage: 118,762 (although the car is still being driven daily so this will change slightly).

We are selling this Seat Leon Reference Sport which has had a full FR conversion using genuine parts. The person who did the conversion used all of the parts from a genuine FR which he was breaking for parts. The conversion has included the bodykit, interior and trim. The car still has the 2.0 tdi engine though which it came out of the factory with.


2 new front tyres have just been fitted this week after having the car 4 wheel aligned. The rear tyres were fitted around 1,000 miles ago. Since having the car we have fully serviced it, replaced the sump which had a slight leak, put new lower arms on, replaced the steering rack and a few other bits, no expense spared.


The car has also been re-mapped, we were told that the previous owner that the car was around the 200bhp mark. It drives really nicely and handles well. It also has an aftermarket exhaust and aftermarket suspension which were fitted before we bought the car. We are not aware of the brand of either of these parts though. The car has a bluetooth handsfree kit fitted, which will come with it.


The bad bits about the car are:


Front bumper is quite stone chipped.


Small parking dent in the drivers side front and rear doors


Drivers side seat belt clip is missing the plastic surround.


The car is a category D stolen and recovered vehicle. There was no damage to the car that we are aware of when this happened.


The rear windscreen wiper doens't work.


Rear bumper has some flaky paint.


Overall this has made a lovely family car for us, being the perfect combination of looking nice, having good power and also being nice and spacious. It does have a few stone chips and marks on the paintwork, but nothing more than you would expect for a 9 year old car. We have just had the car fully valeted inside and out which included a machine polish to the paintwork.
