JDMGarageUK are hugely excited to offer this truly one of a kind custom-built drag racing Mazda RX-7 FD3S.


Built by Reaction Racing in the early 2000s and used in several JDDA events (Japanese Drag Race Driver Association) where it achieved extremely respectable 9-second runs. When seen in person you will come to appreciate why we say "no expense has been spared in putting this absolute beast together" it really encapsulates the Japanese Zero-yon scene (0-4, 0-400 m, quarter mile, industrial estate drag races).


We were extremely lucky to purchase this car from Japan in early 2021. We then made the decision to send it back to Reaction Racing to recondition the HKS 6-speed dog box, along with a complete health check, tune, and any further work that it required to be ready for the strip. Spending roughly 1.2 million Jpy (roughly £7000) with reaction racing, it was then off to Osaka to be shipped, which admittedly took a little while due to ongoing conflicts and covid related troubles, finally arriving in mid-November 2022.


The car is not for the faint-hearted, powered by a fully cross-ported 13B-REW rotary engine with the awesome sounding HKS T51R SPL turbo, MSD ignition blaster, Moroso fuel cooler, fully custom fuel, coolant, breather tanks, braided lines, intake panels, and far too many parts to mention, listed below.


This car would be perfect for someone looking to tear up the drag strip in true JDM style.
